Editorial Policy
This policy explains how ClotheWear creates, checks and maintains its content, and how we keep it independent.
Independence
ClotheWear does not use affiliate links and does not accept payment, free products or sponsorship in exchange for coverage. Our recommendations describe fabrics, garments and methods in general terms rather than promoting particular brands.
Accuracy and sources
We base our guides on established textile and garment-care knowledge, including internationally used care labelling standards and widely accepted fibre science. Where a topic varies by region, brand or manufacturer, we say so and recommend following the instructions on your own garment.
How content is produced
Articles are planned around real questions people ask about clothing. We may use digital tools to help with research and drafting. Every article is reviewed and edited by our editorial team before it is published.
Updates and corrections
We review guides regularly and update them when facts change. The date on each article shows when it was last updated. If you find a mistake, please tell us through the contact page. We will review the report and correct confirmed errors promptly.
Advertising
ClotheWear may display advertising provided by third-party networks. Advertisers have no influence over our editorial decisions, and ads are kept separate from article content.
Limits of our advice
Our content is general information. It does not replace the care instructions on a garment, advice from a qualified tailor, or professional medical advice for skin conditions or allergies. See our disclaimer for more.
